Meet the Team

Huntwicke Advisors is a fee-only advisory and portfolio management firm based in Topsfield, MA-just north of Boston. Since 2009, we have been providing clients with financial strategies and management tailored to individual circumstances and objectives rather than advisor incentives or commissions.

We provide our clients with financial advice centered on portfolio management. This advice comes from a veteran group of accomplished professionals.

Huntwicke Advisors provides its financial expertise on a fee-only basis which aligns our advisor interests directly with our clients. The end result is a professional relationship where the client feels confident that their financial future is being cared for every step of the way, and that decisions about their investments will be made for the right reasons.

Brian Woodland

Brian Woodland has over 22 years of investment management experience. He specialized in managing portfolios for individuals and small institutions during his career. He worked closely with trading desks, research analysts, and buy side portfolio managers at different companies. Brian joined Cowen & Company in 1996, as a Vice President in the Private Client Group. In 2000, Brian joined Salomon Smith Barney as a Senior Vice President of Investments in Boston, MA. There, he was certified as a Financial Planning Specialist for the firm in 2003. In 2006, Brian left Smith Barney with the desire to create a conflict free, client focused, independent financial company that has evolved into Huntwicke Capital Group. Brian is also President and Principal of Huntwicke Securities LLC, a member FINRA / SIPC . A Registered Investment Adviser.

Peter Mulholland

Peter Mulholland has over 23 years experience in the financial services industry and 15 years as an Investment Advisor working with high net worth individual investors, corporate clients and not-for-profit institutions. His passion for the financial services business started Fidelity Investments in 1992 as a mutual fund sales representative. In 1993 Peter joined Fidelity's Portfolio Advisory Services division became licensed as an investment advisor representative. During the 15 years with Portfolio Advisory Services, the division grew total assets from $300 million to over $30 billion.

Peter worked in close contact with the investment management team constantly reviewing monetary and fiscal policy, market valuation and investor sentiment and advised and managed a diverse group of accounts that grew to over 400 customers by 2008. He built long lasting relationships and trust with his clients and was awarded Success and Achievement Awards in 2007 and 2008 for his contributions. Peter joined Huntwicke Advisors in 2009.

Peter is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire and a Massachusetts North Shore native. He currently lives with his wife and their two sons on their family farm in Topsfield.

James Baga

Jim Baga has over 23 year of experience as an Investment Advisor working with individual investors and nonprofit organizations. He joined Huntwicke Advisors after a long career as the on-site representative for 15 years for clients who included Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Newton Wellesley Hospital, Faulkner Hospital, Northeastern University, University of Vermont, Fletcher Allen Hospital and Bowdoin College.

Jim offers fee-based investment management and financial planning services to individuals and their families, he is firmly committed to building long-term relationships with his clients.

His passion is in mutual fund analysis, assisting with asset allocation and managing risk in portfolios on a long-term basis to help his clients reach their retirement goals.

Dennis Wassung

Dennis Wassung has over 15 years of experience in the investment management industry, specializing in portfolio management, investment analysis and research. He joined Huntwicke Advisors after spending eight years at Cabot Wealth Management as a global portfolio manager and equity analyst, managing over $120 million in separate accounts for high net worth clients. Prior to Cabot, Dennis spent 8 years as an equity research analyst, covering technology companies at Canaccord Genuity (formerly Adams, Harkness & Hill). He graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering, and earned an MBA from the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business. Dennis holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, and is a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society Boston. Dennis offers fee-based investment management and financial planning services to individuals and their families.

Jim Edmonson

Jim Edmonson has over 13 years of experience as an Investment Advisor working with individual investors of nonprofit organizations. He joined Huntwicke after 10 years at Fidelity Investments where he worked with clients to help them achieve their financial goals. He currently holds the CFP® and CRPC® designations.

Jim provides fee based investment management and financial planning to clients and their families.

He currently lives in New Hampshire with his wife and two kids.
